Greetings and welcome to the new PAMMA website. We hope that you will use this valuable membership tool to communicate and share your ideas and concerns with your state association. There are a number of exciting features we will be introducing over the next few months, so be sure to check www.pamma.org often, or better yet, put it in your “Favorites” list.

Becoming a member of an organization like PAMMA is important, not just to your own business entity, but to the coin-operated machine industry in general. As a group we share an enormous responsibility to ensure continued growth and ethical partnership within the industry, both in the commonwealth and nationally.

PAMMA members are some of the most visible individuals within their communities. They run successful businesses, pay taxes, provide employment and provide hours of entertainment in the many neighborhoods of the commonwealth. On a more personal side, our members worship in local churches, raise families, and contribute to the economic well being of other groups, businesses and services within those same communities and neighborhoods.

As an owner, operator, distributor, manufacturer or supplier of coin-operated machines, it is important to constantly communicate with area businesses and local government officials whose decisions and opinions can have an adverse affect on our industry as a whole. But you don’t have to do it alone. PAMMA is here to help you. You and your customers benefit from the work your state association does and which works as an advocate for you. Regulations and legislation on taxes, tournaments, gambling, and smoking in our customers establishments and are all issues that we as individual businesses need to be aware of but are the reason PAMMA exists. A state association, such as PAMMA, carries the task and the mission of representing the voices of its varied membership at a state level. In turn as members, we too have a responsibility to challenge issues in our neighborhoods and in our everyday lives that pose a threat or lessen our ability to earn a living. Together we keep the coin-operated amusement machine industry alive and well in PA.

I urge each and every one of you to be vocal, be vigilant, be passionate and be proud of what you do for a living. Stay active in your communities in every possible way and if you’re not a member of The Pennsylvania Amusement and Music Machine Association yet….join today!
